Well, I have definitely not been so good at this blog thing lately. Here are a few updates and pics:)

Smoot Easter Party

We had an Easter party at our house for the Smoots. It was really fun. We had BBQ pulled sandwiches and an Easter egg/candy hunt for the kids. Timothy helped me hide the eggs and he ended up dropping one down the speaker. We had to take the speaker off the wall to get the egg out. It was pretty funny. We also got to try out the theater. We watched Megamind. It was awesome! thanks everyone for all your help:)

We went to Kim's for a friend Easter party. It was so fun and Maylee had so much fun. She didn't like the easter egg hunt though. All she wanted to do once outside was to swing and play in the sand. It was really cute.

Jared's Graduation

So this last weekend Jared, Timothy's brother, graduated with his PHD in Biochemistry. We drove up to Montana to see his graduation. It was really fun and good to see Jared and Rae and

the kids. Maylee was shy at first, but eventually she warmed up and had a great time with the cousins.

Well it took me forever to get One-year-old photos taken, so these are more like 18 month pictures. Amy was amazing and got them all fixed and ready for wayfast. Thanks a million Amy:) We had lots of fun taking the pictures, and I hope you all have just as much fun looking at them. maylee is so fun and makes great faces.

Maylee turned one on August 5th. I know that was awhile ago, but it kind of got a little crazy. I can't believe how fast time goes. It feels like yesterday that this little angel entered our lives. She is such a blessing in our lives and we love her so much. So here are some pics of her and then her Birthday Party.

Life

Well I haven't been as good about keeping the blog updated as I had hoped. Life is BUSY, who'd of thunk. My sister had her baby back in August and he ended up in Primary Children's hospital for a few weeks. That was really crazy, the kids did really well considering they were either at grandma's or home without mom and dad. Samuel, the baby, was finnaly released and is doing really well. He is super cute and cuddly! We are looking a houses. WOW!! it is a lot of work and takes forever. I think we have looked at about 90 houses now. It is a lot more stressful than I thought it would be. Timothy is working hard and loving his job for the most part. I think every job has its ups and downs. Maylee is growing up so fast it is hard to beilieve she used to be as small as Sam. She and Sarah, her cousin who is almost two, are super troublemakers when they get together. They love eachother. When everything got settled and all the kids and the baby came home Maylee ran up to Sarah and gave her a huge hug. It was so super cute! I have applied for a homehealth job and am just waiting to hear back on if I got the job or not.

Well this summer has been super crazy!!! Timothy graduated( wha hoooooo)!!! We had lots of fun down in Glendale with all our friends. We miss them tons and tons, but are excited that we are all moving on to new a new stage of life. We went on two family vacations which were a blast! WE went to St. George with the Smoots and to Timpanogos cave, and boating with the Bowdens. All in all it has been a fun filled summer and super busy.

so much fun and I only had to take a few benadryl.

formations in the caves and had a lot of fun just hanging out with family.

Easter

Easter was so much fun. It is a wonderful time to get to gether with family

and friends to celabrate the atonment of our Savoir. It was so much fun

to be with family for Maylee's first Easter. I love my families so much

and am so grateful for the love and support they give us.

So I haven't really been very good at keeping up on the blog, so here are just some pictures from the last three months and some fun things that Maylee is doing. She is growing up so fast it is crazy. I love her so much and am enjoying being a mom so much. It is one of the most rewarding things in the world, and I am so glad that my husband alows me to stay at home with my wonderful daughter. He is so wonderful. He works so hard so that we can have fun and I can be home.

I can't believe how grown up Maylee is getting

Maylee loves to sit on her own and play with toys.
As long as mommy stays close by.

This is the horse Maylee got for Chirstmas. She absolutely
loves it and laughs when it plays the music as she rides.

Maylee loves to pose for pictures most of the time.
some times it is the only way to get her to do tummy time.

Maylee really Hated the cold when we first moved
and this was her warm "coat". Whenever we put it on her
she would get mad because she knew we were going out.
It is crazy how fast Maylee is growing, this was just
in January and now she sits up all on her own.

Maylee loves carrots, they are one of the only veggies
I can get her to eat. However, they are really messy.

Mommy loves it too because Maylee always wants to be
standing and in this she can do it on her own, mommy
doesn't have to hold her.

She gets tired of her car seat and the cold.

with all the kiddos. Maylee was fast asleep and
the rest were acting really silly.

Christmas

We had so much fun watching Maylee enjoy Christmas and sharing it with the family. We love living with Tamina and Jon. It was so much fun to see all the kids get so excited and open their presents. We enjoyed spending time with all the families and then being able to go home and relax. :)

So we blessed Maylee the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Thanks you to all the family and friends who came. It was an absolutely wonderful day. She was so good and did not cry during the blessing.

Wow so It has been a while. Thanksgiving was awesome. We had a fun time at the Smoot talent night on Wednesday, and then we spent Thanksgiving day with the Bowdens. We had so much fun being with family this year. It was wonderful. We also attended a party at the Morgans on Wednesday for a party for the kids. It was really fun. They did all sorts of fun things.

Tribute

I wanted to let all of our friends in Arizona know haw very much we appreciate them. We miss them and are so glad that we had the chance to meet them and become such good friends. They were our family while we were down there. They took such good care of us and we had a lot of great times laughing and crying with them. THANK YOU!! We want to keep in touch and are excited to see them in June for graduation. You guys made our lives so much better and fun. Thank you for sharing your wonderful families and time with us. We love you all and were sad to leave you, but we know that we will continue to get together and have good times in the future.

Moving

Well as most of you know we recently moved back to Utah. It was so tiring. The drive was really long, but okay. Maylee did a lot better than we thought she would. She hardly cried at all during the first 10 hours, but then the last 5 hours she was DONE. She would cling to us when we tried to put her back in the car seat. Anyway, I thought I would post some pictures of the move.

Halloween

We had so much fun this year for Halloween. We did a theme of "The Wizard of Oz". We went to three parties, two at friends houses and then the ward "trunk or treat". Maylee was super cute in her cowardly lion outfit.

Well Timothy is now halfway done with his first rotation. We have 3 and-a-half weeks until we move! WOW! Time has really gone by so fast. Maylee is growing so fast and is so strong. She loves to spend time just hanging out with dad, especially when he is holding her. She loves to stand, she hardly ever wants to sit on my lap, just stand. She has also started to play with some of her toys, it is really cute to watch.

The ZOO

Timothy had most of last week off, so on Wednesday we went with some friends to the zoo. It was really fun, and the weather was better than I had hoped. We left at 7:30 am. It started out cloudy and only around 80 degrees. It got up into the 90's, but that was it. The zoo was really cool. They had all sorts of fun things. Timothy and I got to go in to the cage with the "wild" monkeys (we didn't think it would be good to bring Maylee in). It was pretty cool to see them playing in the trees and ropes with no barrier between us and them. We really enjoyed the day, and were pretty tired by the end of the trip.

comb the goats just outside. The older kids really enjoyed it, and the adults liked the cool air inside :)

There were several Peacocks that came really close to us.

and to enjoy being close to the life size statues.

okay so first because Maylee is still an infant this is the way
you should put her in the baby carrier, however, she hated it.
So we turned her around and she was looking at everything.
She smiled and enjoyed it a lot after we turned her around.

The elephant was throwing dirt on himself to keep cool. It was interesting.

In the child's play area they had these really cool benches.

There were tons of turtles just swimming around in all the ponds.
It was pretty cool to see. They have islands with monkeys on them
surrounded by turtle infested waters! Pretty scary (Ha Ha Ha)

Finally

Well Timothy just finished his last final today!! He is done with classes and now just has rotations left. We are so excited! Last week they had a pinning ceremony where all the students received their Pharmacist pin. Timothy starts his first rotation on Monday Oct 5th. Then we will be moving to Utah for the rest of them in November.
Maylee continues to grow fast. She is so cute and enjoys talking to her daddy when he comes home from school. She is always full of smiles and loves it when people talk to her.

dinner and a birthday cake for Maylee.
They are like our family down here. They take such good care of us.
They both have new babies also.

We had some really awesome nurses in the hospital.
The one that helped me deliver stayed after her shift
over an hour to help me finish. the other nurse on her stayed
with us for like 2 hours to help try and feed Maylee
because she was struggling to eat. She was a lifesaver!

Ok, so I haven't been real good at posting lately. There were a few things that I missed in posting, so this is like a catch-up with pictures.

A night apart

Well the hospital kept Terra overnight last night because she lost so much blood. Saturday morning at 3 am Terra nudged me and said I am bleeding again. We called some wonderful friends from the ward and dropped Maylee off and we went to the ER again. They did another ultrasound and decided to admit Terra because during the week her hemoglobin had dropped to 9. They performed a D&C and then the doctor spoke with me. Right after he was finished they called the doctor back into OR because Terra was bleeding too much. They gave her a medicine to cause the uterus to contract and checked Terra to see if she might need a transfusion. Her hemoglobin had dropped to 7 so they did not want to let Terra go home. I knew I would have to go watch our beautiful daughter, but I have never left Terra alone in the hospital overnight before. It was so hard to leave her so sick. We spoke to each other about 4 times throughout the night. Maylee was very well behaved for me. I did enjoy rocking her to sleep, but it was very different to be alone with my daughter. I have been taking care of her alot during these last two weeks, but Terra was always around if I didn't know what to do. Anyway, Terra was discharged today and is home. This short night of separation from my sweetheart has made my heart swell. I love her! She is my life! I feel so grateful to have her in my life! I said many a prayer during this last week to thank my Heavenly Father for such a wonderful wife and daughter. We have been well taken care of during this as we have many friends who helped out. We could not have done this without them. Thanks!

Crazy ER visit

Okay so the other day I just started bleeding out of nowhere. We were just finishing feeding Maylee and Timothy was changing her diaper I I felt something warm like I had just wet my pants except it kept coming and I had no control over it. It was crazy! I hurried into the bathroom and luckily didn't get any blood on the carpet. Everything is good now, at least the doctors aren't concerned so we are trying not to be. So when we got home from the ER Timothy thought it looked like one of those "murder scenes" from the movies so we took some pictures. It was pretty crazy.

Crazziness and love

Well the last couple of weeks have been crazy and amazing. I finished school with a 4.0 the last semester, we had lots of family over for my birthday and Maylee's birth, and we had Maylee. It was full of fun crazy things. We really enjoyed having everyone over and playing hard. We had Emily, Alma, Mom Smoot, Tamina, Ari, Adam, and Sarah. It was sooo super fun. We went to the train park, went swimming everyday, and just basically had a blast.
One of the really crazy things that happened was that I was going to be induced sunday Aug 2nd so we were all ready and waiting for the time to go and the hospital said they were to full that day. SO basically we had to wait. They said they would call us when they had an open room so we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally monday night I called again and they said they were still too full so we continued to wait. Then Tuesady we called again and they said the same thing. By this time it was really frustrating. Finally Tuesday night I called and they said hopefully befor 7am the next morning I could come in. Well then I started to contract every 7 min through most the night and we thought that we were just going to go in on our own when they called at 4 am and told us we could come in 1 hour. It was super crazy waiting, but everything turned out great and Maylee was born on her due date!
They kids really enjoyed seeing thier cousin and holding her.

Well we finally have Maylee here! She is very healthy and cute. She came on Wed Aug 5th at 7:04 pm and is supper cute and cuddly. She was 7lbs 13oz and 20 3/4 inches long. Mommy and baby are doing well and adjusting. Timothy makes a great daddy and love to hold her and rock her. My sister did a short photo shoot the day we got home from the hospital so here are some of the pics.

Golfing

So Timothy had last week off of school. It was nice to have him home for the week. We spent lots of time finishing my school work, and cleaning everything. We also had some fun with friends. We went to see a couple of movies, which was really fun. We saw Alien vs. Monster at the dollar theaters, it was hilarious! We also saw Harry Potter, which of course was really good. We went miniature golfing with some friends and had a blast! We had never gone together before.
It was just a really nice and relaxing, for the most part, week. Timothy is now back in school finishing his last quarter of classes before rotations. He got a 4.0 last quarter and I am really proud of him. He works so hard in school and in everything he does, and I know that the Lord blesses us both so much because of it.

Well we finally made it out to the temple. We were able to do sealings and the officiator was very friendly and tried to help us understand more by answering questions. It felt so good to enter the Lord's house.

We just thought that some of you might want to see me getting bigger through the pregnancy so here are some pics.

Well school started back up for me and Timothy is still just pluggin' along. We are enjoying spending time with friends and are super excited to see family as they come down. School is going fairly well for both of us. We are super excited for our daughter to come and finally be here!! We have been rearranging things to fit all her stuff in it has been really fun to see how much a little baby needs. (Timothy says that she already takes up more room than he does with "stuff") Anyway, we are doing really well. It is getting Really Really HOT here but that can't really be helped so we are trying to enjoy the airconditioned house.

Suprise

Okay so it is not like a really big surprise, but I found out yesterday that I get a week off between this semester and next starting today! I am glad, I needed a rest from all the papers. I finished the semester yesterday and it feels good to be done with it. Timothy is still plugging along in school. It is sad how are breaks never coincide. Oh well. It is starting to get HOT down here. Just walking outside now is like walking into a sauna. I am not excited for this summer it is going to be really uncomfortably HOT. I just have one more semester and then I graduate! I am so excited to be done, again. The baby is doing great. She is really active and kicks anything that gets into
"her space"( ie seatbelts, any baby I hold, her dad.) It is pretty funny. We start 2 week appointments with the doctor next week. hurray we're getting closer.

Life has been crazy lately. Timothy finished another quarter of school and is starting a new one on Monday. I am almost done with this semester and all the crazy hours and projects it has required. However, next semester is supposedly just as crazy with projects and mentor hours. The pregnancy is going well. The baby moves around a lot and is growing everyday.
For Timothy's week break we decided to go camping for a day with some friends and it was a blast! We got sunburned and went hiking and played in a stream. It was really fun. We also tried some new things with food. We cooked corn on the cob by throwing it in the fire with the husks on(it turned out wonderful), we also tried baking potatoes in foil in the fire(they turned out pretty good too).
